Make Poverty History

Board Chairperson - Mary Lysecki read the attached letter on the steps of the Legislature on January 2, 2013.  This is in part of the campaign by Make Poverty History Manitoba to raise the housing allowance of Employment and Income Assistance to 75% of the median rent for apartments of the appropriate unit.  The Centre had already signed on to support the campaign and responded to Make Poverty History Manitoba as being willing to be part of their 12 Shoes of Christmas witness.
